Ambient walking tours — Sweden & northern Europe
Wander Echoes
Long walks through real places, filmed close to how they felt on foot. Minimal narration, on-location sound, sparse editing.
What this is
No narration. Few cuts.
Just the walk.
Each video follows a single route, largely in real time. Footage is sparsely edited — cuts are kept to a minimum, and nothing is added that wasn't there on the street. The audio is whatever the microphone picked up: footsteps on cobblestone, wind off the water, a boat engine idling in a marina.
Few cuts, no music laid over the footage, no reaction shots.
No overdubs or voiceover. What you hear is what was there.
Routes run close to their actual walking time, not sped up.
Featured walk
Brunnshög, Lund
Filmed in June 2026, this route runs through Lund's Brunnshög district, past two of Sweden's largest research facilities: the MAX IV Laboratory and the European Spallation Source. Long stretches of quiet path, broken by the low hum of the research campus.
Where the camera has been
Two routes, in progress
A coastal project through Lund and Malmö, alongside a set of city walks further south in Germany.
